LET’S GO: MAKE CROP TOPS
Students from high school to grad school will always have on thing in surplus: large, free, and generally unbearably unwearable T-shirts. But you only need so many gym shirts and pajama tees, so what to do with the excess? Make a crop top!
DILLO DAY DREAMIN’: THREE ACTS I’D LIKE TO SEE
Dillo Day is coming up. You can feel it in the air, the mass amount of Safe Dillo advertisements everywhere and your bones. So here, I wanted to throw out three artists I would die to listen to on Dillo. Not that I’m not giving mad props to Mayfest (and I’ll give the actual job...
WHAT TO WEAR TO: LATE NIGHTS AT THE LIBRARY
Almost every time I go to the library, hair unwashed and cowering in the face of a midterm, I inevitably wind up in the study carrel next to that boy I flirted with last night or in the café by an ex-fling. Let’s face it: the library is Northwestern’s most active late night hotspot.
LET’S GO: HIT THE ROOFTOPS
With Evanston weather finally starting to pick up, it’s high time we start hitting up the best outdoor spots. Northwestern’s campus is filled with beautiful places to take in the sun, but our most underutilized resources are right under our noses, and over our heads: the rooftops.
WHYSOWHITE’S COLORFUL STYLE
We’re kicking it off today at Mr. Stitcher by talking about the style of the funky, hippity-hoppity whysowhite, the band filled with Evanstonian natives and Northwesterners who just played at the A&O spring concert on Sunday. Not only did their concert blow my mind (as will be discussed in the separate concert review) their fashion...
MIKE’S SHOE REPAIR, AND A CASE AGAINST GYM SHOES
Put something on your feet, you buffoon! Why the unexpected hostility, you ask?
Because what I see you wearing right now puts you firmly in square territory, and I’m perturbed. You roll out of bed, head to the gym (some days…one day), slap some jeans on and boom, you’re off to class and the public eye....

ON THE CALENDAR: CHAVEZ FOR CHARITY BRACELET SALE
Looking for something to do/consume over the weekend? The Chavez for Charity bracelet, sponsored by Alpha Phi sorority, is this Saturday, April 27th from noon to 2 p.m. at the Alpha Phi house, and while we hardly need shopping encouragement, 25 percent of the sale's proceeds go to charitable causes.
WHAT TO WEAR TO: THE LUDACRIS CONCERT
A&O’s Spring Ball at the Riviera Theatre is this weekend, featuring favorite blast-from-bat-mitzvahs-past Ludacris. While we’re all excited to shake our “money makers” on Saturday, picking an outfit for a concert can be a struggle: you want to look effortlessly cool, but still comfortable.
CURRENTLY STALKING: MICHAEL RÜHL-WOLFE
Despite his endless responsibilities, half-German, half-Canadian Michael Rühl-Wolfe manages to look impeccable everyday and keep a tastefully decorated apartment in downtown Evanston, putting us all to shame.
WHAT TO WEAR TO: A SPRING DARTY
If you’re scratching your head wondering if my title includes an embarrassing typo, you’re probably not a college student, or you’re one that’s already in midterms. Forget the groundhog; the day party, or “darty,” often hosted in the dirty backyard of a dilapidated off-campus dwelling, is the universal sign that spring has arrived.
FORESHADOWING: COACHELLA TRENDS FOR DILLO DAY
