Katy Perry launched her new fragrance in London last Friday. The new scent, called Purr, comes in a purple cat-shaped bottle inspired by her own feline, Kitty Purry (the best possible name she could’ve come up with).  It’s set to hit stateside next week, but you can get it now online for $65 a bottle.

This might explain the mysterious NYC party they are throwing this week with all kinds of fashion industry insiders and even a performance by the Misshapes.

Tom Ford is reportedly working on another film, according to Colin Firth, the star of his feature debut, “A Single Man.”  Firth is apparently “jealous of whoever’s going to be in it.” I guess Ford doesn’t sexually exploit his actors the same way he does his campaign models.

The Kardashians recently opened up a Dash store in Soho, and the local residents are none too pleased. Sean Sweeney, director of the Soho Alliance, fumed that “the Kardashians are attempting to bring all that is wrong with Los Angeles to Soho, as well as to their fans—a generation of classless, tasteless and clueless sheep.”  Harsh words, even for the Kardashians.
