As summer looms closer and the thought of finals is driving me crazy, there is one thing that keeps my spirits high: The Vampire Diaries (and I have no shame). The CW show just wrapped for the season, but it was the perfect distraction from real life—and by that I mean lots of well-dressed, supernatural eye candy.

Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley play their roles with just the right amount of snark and smolder, and Nina Dobrev is flawless. Literally. I wish I were her, especially since she is dating Somerhalder in real life.

Sans blood and fangs, they are one of the most attractive and well-dressed couples in Hollywood.  And now that they’re public with their relationship, I can’t help but obsess over the way they seem to pull off couple’s fedoras (!). In a recent snap of them strolling hand-in-hand in New York, Somerhalder and Dobrev sported matching headwear and twin Starbucks drinks. Factor in her neon shorts and his simple V-neck, and they just scream ‘offbeat nonchalance.’ I wasn’t even bothered by his man necklace—and that’s saying something.

Steal Dobrev’s look by splurging on some of her style staples: unique pieces that carry the outfit and speak for themselves. She uses prints, pops of color, and eclectic accessories to tie her look together. Try printed scarves, floppy hats, saturated hues and a trusty pair of Ray-Ban ‘Wayfarers.’

As for her arm candy: I don’t know where you’ll find a beautiful actor who moonlights as a vampire, but if you do, be sure to let me know!
