A 20-something stylish fashion blogger residing in New York City’s Lower East Side, Arielle Nachmani lives a life coveted by many (namely, myself). For a fairly young blog started barely over a year ago, Something Navy has become one of the Internet’s foremost sources of personal style for the young, urban, fashion and nightlife-loving crowd. Luckily the fashion industry has sat up and taken notice – within the last year, Nachmani has been featured in campaigns for Coach and Olsenboye, styled by veteran stylist Lori Goldstein, and, most recently, chosen as the star model for contemporary website Singer22.com.

With a style composed equally of New York urban edge and bohemian eclecticism,
Nachmani possesses the rare ability to pair nearly any two items together and form a chic ensemble. While other bloggers may stick to a tried-and-true combination, she pulls off high-waisted pants with a cropped top equally as well as a maxidress and flat sandals. Mixing vintage designer pieces from her mother’s closet with Singer22’s modern, easy LA trends, Nachmani provides a lesson in merging high and low fashion. Of course, with her behind-the-scenes looks of magazine photoshoots and view from her boyfriend’s high-rise Manhattan apartment, the photography isn’t too hard on the eyes either. Fashion and a chic lifestyle – do you really need any more reason to check out her blog?
