On March 11, 2011, an earthquake and tsunami hit the northeast coast of Japan, devastating numerous regions of the area. NU Stands with Japan is a Northwestern student-sponsored organization that has been raising funds for the people of Japan, as well as awareness about the situation and their need for help.
This week, STITCH is sponsoring a T-shirt design contest to support theĀ NU Stands with Japan cause. The winning design will become the official T-shirt for NU Stands with Japan and will be sold on campus to raise money for earthquake victims. All proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross.
Want to use your design skills to help the cause? Here’s what you need to know:
-All submissions should be suited for a plain white T-shirt
-Designs will be accepted from 4/17 to 4/24
-Each submission should be e-mailed to designforjapan@gmail.com
-You can submit more than one design!
-The winning design will be announced on 4/25
